Hey there!!! If you have been following me lately, you may now that I am doing a series on how to balance your hormones with all my membership babes. That said, I've been playing around with some great recipes that will help balance hormones naturally.
One of my favorite treats is a piece of decadent chocolate.
Of course, it can't just taste good, it needs to be good FOR you, if I'm going to share it with my babes.
Seriously, this stuff is sooooooo good! I especially love that I can make a batch in just a few minutes and it has some pretty fabulous ingredients in it. As with anything, you'll need to practice moderation. Because even a good thing can be a bad thing if you eat too much.
I’ve been playing around with Maca in numerous recipes and found it to be a nice little addition to this chocolate. I added skin beautifying collagen to reverse aging and build strong bones and connective tissue.
This chocolate is smooth but I think shaved coconut would be a nice addition.

Ingredients
1 cup coconut oil ( I love Costco Brand)
1 cup natural almond or peanut butter
½ cup raw cacao
¼ cup pure maple syrup or ½ cup xylitol if going for less calories
1 tsp Maca powder
2 scoops collagen protein powder
Directions
Blend all ingredients together on low heat until smooth.
Pour mixture into non-stick pan
Place in freezer for 30 minutes
Remove from freezer and cut into 1 inch squares. Store in airtight container in freezer until you want te enjoy your sweet treat. Caution, they do melt easily.
